The Cosmic Series Is Back - And We're Taking It Bi-Coastal

This is the year the Cosmic Series goes everywhere. And wherever it goes, SISSTR is bringing the women's heats with it.
Cosmic Creek has been a Salt Creek institution for nearly three decades. Vintage boards. Luck of the draw. Groms and first-timers in the same lineup as people who have been surfing these breaks their whole lives. Live music on the sand. Shapers and storytellers and anyone who shows up for the love of it. This year the series stretches coast to coast, from Dana Point all the way to Virginia Beach and into Florida this fall. And at every stop along the way, SISSTR is presenting the women's heats.
Open to all ages. All levels. All you need is a love of the ocean and a willingness to surf whatever board you pull.
What to Expect
You don't bring your own board. You draw one. Single fins and twin fins from the '70s and '80s, pure vintage shapes with real history under them. Whoever connects deepest with what they pull wins.
The women's heats are open to all ages, which is part of what makes them so good to watch. There's no separation by experience level or background. Just a draw, a board, and the water in front of you.
Free to watch. Open to the public. Live music, live shaping, good food, and a community that genuinely shows up for each other.
